Jeannette M. Haag, Esq.

A native Floridian and practicing law since 1975, Jeannette has been married to her husband and law partner, Larry Haag, since 1970. They were high school sweethearts at Chamberlain High in Tampa. The couple share one daughter, Tiffany Halley, who lives in Orlando with her husband Jason Halley and Larry and Jeannette’s adorable granddaughter Addison.


Jeannette genuinely loves practicing law, but when not working, she stays active working in her yard, spoiling her dachshunds, and going to Disney World. Jeannette and Larry attend Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Jeannette’s areas of practice include: Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Probate Estate, and Trust Administration.

Larry M. Haag, Esq.

Larry M. Haag, Esq. is a native Floridian and is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Oklahoma. He has been practicing law since 1974, of which 24 years was devoted to being the County Attorney for Citrus County, Florida. Larry is of counsel to the firm and continues to represent governmental entities. Larry and Jeannette have been married since 1970 and have one daughter, Tiffany Halley, who lives in Orlando with her husband Jason Halley and Larry and Jeannette’s adorable granddaughter Addison.

Tanya M. Williams, Esq.

Tanya M. Williams, Esq. considers herself a Citrus County native. She has lived there since her parents relocated to the Nature Coast in 1997. Tanya is proud to have worked in Inverness under Jeannette Haag since 2012, when Jeannette hired her out of law school. At that time, the firm consisted of three other attorneys, husband and wife team Jeannette and Larry Haag and Johnnye Friedrich. Tanya gained invaluable experience from Johnnye in Guardianship and Bankruptcy until she retired in 2018, and Larry continues to offer guidance while being of counsel. Today, Jeannette and Tanya continue to serve their clients with experience, professionalism, and dedication.



Tanya attended middle school at Central Catholic School of Citrus County, is an alumna of Lecanto High School class of 2004, and graduated from the University of Florida in 2008, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in History and minor in Women’s Studies. Tanya earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2011 and was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year.

 

Tanya married her husband Pedro Cartaya in November 2021, and they are expecting their first son in February 2022. Outside of practicing law, Tanya enjoys being with her family while boating in Crystal River and Homosassa, watching Gator and Tampa athletics, and traveling. Her family has attended St. Scholastica Catholic Church since 1997. Tanya’s practice areas include: Probate, Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Guardianship, Landlord/Tenant, Real Estate, and Bankruptcy consultations.
